Feeling inspired? No? Then stop the action.

Is it possible to do only what we’re inspired to do? We think so. And there’s are some nuances to the practice to consider. First, what is inspiration? Does it come from outside of you or inside of you? If the answer is that inspiration is (or can be) internally sourced, that means that it’s possible to generate it at any time. If you pause to find the inspiration or the larger purpose for everything you choose to do in your day, your day is more enjoyable and more effective. And if you absolutely can’t find a kernel of inspiration put that action off until later or cross it off the list entirely. Seriously. Just try it for a day or two and see what happens.
