Is 2010 the year?

I’m witnessing many miracles and seeing clear signs of dreams coming true this year. Yes, I still get impatient (mostly with myself and with time) and I feel like I have huge goals that seem like towering mountains ahead of me. But at the same time I’m hearing of homes being sold, homes being purchased, engagements being planned, babies being born, businesses being launched and growing, financial successes, and life purpose becoming clearer. We are all definitely on the journey and making progress, whether it feels like it or not! Today would be a good day to do three things:
1. Acknowledge yourself for how far you’ve personally come. No one knows that but you.
2. Notice and celebrate all the successes, accomplishments, and good things happening around you no matter how small.
3. Share what you’re noticing, accomplishing, and grateful for here! It’s a conversation that feels good.
Just yesterday, I saw how difficult I make it to acknowledge myself. Journaling with my morning coffee, I started to write about some healthful changes I’ve made to my days, and the signs of progress that were popping up, like those first shoots of spring tulips. Which then got crushed into oblivion by a great big “Yeah, but there’s no giant bouquet yet.” It’s a little scary how automatic that can happen. But at least I noticed that it happened, and can now be a little more protective of those little green shoots.
